HELP CENTER

Everything you need to know before sending your cards.

Depending on the card and severity, treatment may help reduce creases, dents, pressure marks, warping, surface contamination, fingerprints, residue, and other condition issues. Every card is assessed individually before treatment.

TCG Card Clinic focuses on cleaning, preservation, and physical condition improvement. We do not guarantee how any third-party grading company will classify a treated card, and grading companies may apply their own standards when determining alteration.

Missing ink, whitening caused by lost card material, tears, missing layers, severe surface loss, and some forms of permanent damage cannot simply be restored back to factory condition. In these cases, treatment may improve presentation without completely eliminating the damage.

We work with a variety of collectible trading cards, including Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, sports cards, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, and other collectible card games. Treatment options depend on the card's construction, age, finish, and condition.

Start by creating a submission through our website. Add your cards, provide condition information and photos, and select the appropriate service. Once your submission is reviewed, you will receive the information needed to safely send your cards to us.

Some graded cards may be candidates for treatment after being removed from their holders. Because opening a graded holder permanently removes the card from its current certification, this should only be considered after reviewing the risks and goals of the card.

Turnaround time depends on the service selected, the number of cards submitted, and the complexity of the treatment. More extensive restoration work may require additional treatment and stabilization time.

No. TCG Card Clinic can work to improve correctable condition issues, but we cannot guarantee a specific grade or an increase in grade. Third-party grading companies make their own independent condition assessments.

Yes. Grade Prep is a $15 add-on that can be paired with any care level and includes a pre-grading review and presentation prep. You can also discuss having TCG Card Clinic submit approved cards to PSA on your behalf. When that arrangement is confirmed, the PSA grading fee is not collected up front; it becomes due after the graded cards return and we receive the PSA charge. PSA grading, upcharges, shipping, insurance, and grading outcomes remain separate, and no grade is guaranteed.

If inspection reveals an issue that changes the recommended treatment or creates additional risk, we can contact you before proceeding with work outside the original treatment plan.

That depends on the card's value, rarity, sentimental importance, current condition, type of damage, and your goals for the card. Your submission information helps us determine whether treatment may be appropriate.
